Hi guys! Hope everyone's well :)
I've been so busy lately, planning for and organising this and that: hectic. I just paid for my plane tickets to Queensland, i'm going there to check out Tweed Heads cause i'll be moving up there for uni next semester *wooottt!* I can't wait. Believe it or not, i actually
miss studying (i say this now but will probably regret it once the assignments pile up!) But all in all, i'm happy with my decision to continue with my studies again cause i feel that it will bring me 1 step closer to my dream and reach my goals. So why not hey? *optimistic*
Oh i had a great time at Wollongong btw! It was relaxing and so nice to get away for awhile and spend quality time with him. Not that we don't spend time with eachother, we do but it's just nice to experience new things with your loved ones, isn't it? I really like the place and would definitely consider moving there. It's a compact, peaceful coastal town with the benefits of a big city - sydney's only about 45mins away. We had a nice seafood dinner at
The Harbourfront Cafe on friday night and had some of THE best food for saturday's lunch at this great little kiosk by the beachfront,
Levendi's. You have to try it, it's deelicious! I especially recommend the burgers (i ordered the beef burger and he had the special Levendi's chicken burger) - huge portions with yummy fresh ingredients. And you can't skip the homemade gelato in a variety of flavours -nice smooth texture, with pieces of fruit or chocolate/cookies bits (depending on what you have) probably the best i've had without going to Italy! mmm...
On saturday we had his work colleague's engagement party to go at the Knightsbridge Penthouse. It's small and cosy, good for afterwork drinks or a funky
chilled out place to hang out and catch up with friends if you don't feel like going to a crowded nightclub and dealing with the noise and yelling in eachother's ears! I especially like the decor with its fairy lights which make the place quite intimate and also the delish cocktails but i can't say the same for the music. So off-putting. I'd say the crowd's a yuppie, diverse artsy type with some pretencious people in the mix. Having said that, i'm not sure if it's my kinda place and if i'll go there again but all in all it was nice to try something different other than my usual r&b nightclub faves.
Well that's it for now but will update again soon.
Take care xx
